Anis Allagui Awarded FQRNT Post-Doctoral Fellowship.

The objective of the FQRNT post-doctoral research scholarship is to foster new doctorate holders to broaden their field of research. These scholarships also seek to encourage the mobility of researchers toward scientifically stimulating and dynamic environments. These environments may be universities, industries, government agencies and university affiliated institutions.

EGE Members Honoured During The Departemental Awards Day

In the frame of the 2011 departmental awards days, two of our doctoral candidates, Abou Ziki Jana and Sad Abadi Hamid, where awarded prestigious scholarships for their outstanding academic achievements. Raissa El-Haddad, research interim during 2010 in our group, was awarded the departmental undergraduate research award for her contribution to the field of gas evolving electrodes.

EGE Capstone Projects Awarded By The Department

The three teams working on the design of an AFM, a table top glass micro-machining facility and an electropolishing cell for titanium parts where honoured in the frame of the 2010 departmental awards days.

Athienitis and Wüthrich Named University Research Fellows

The University Research Awards were first created in 1998, to recognize and promote excellence in research and creative activity at Concordia University. Both professors won the awards in the "Technology, Industry, and Environment" category.

Raissa El-Haddad Funded In The Concordia University Small Grants Program

Raissa El-Haddad was awarded in the frame of the Concordia University Small Grants Program to conduct research in the EGE group on gas evolving electrodes. This grant will allow her to present her research results at the 2010 meeting of the International Society of Electrochemistry.
