Open PhD Positions
We are currently looking for one or two PhD students with strong background and/or interest in at least one of the following topics (start date: earliest September 2011):- Physical chemistry
- Electrochemistry
- Glass processing
- Sum frequency generator spectroscopy
Opening for a PhD candidate for an industrial R&D project
Thesis topic: "Development of an Electropolishing Method for Titanium Parts Manufactured by Selective Laser Melting"The successful applicant will work at DynaTool Industries and will be registered as a PhD candidate in the
department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, Concordia University.
Objective: transfer the developed technology from lab-scale work-pieces to real manufactured parts.

Industrial experience is an asset.
Successful candidate should have a strong background in at least two of the following fields:
- Mechanical Design
- Instrumentation
- Control
- Computer Programming
- Modeling of multi-physics systems
- Chemical Engineering
- Electrochemistry
French is not required but desirable.
